How we build the health content

Heart Help translates established cardiovascular and public-health guidance into plain-language actions. Educational pages link directly to organizations such as the American Heart Association, CDC and other authoritative health sources.

What Heart Help does not claim

Heart Help does not diagnose heart disease, hypertension, diabetes or a lipid disorder; calculate an ASCVD percentage; prescribe treatment; or tell a user to start, stop or change medication.

What the score means

The Heart Help Score is a transparent daily behavior and adherence score. Food is the largest component. Blood pressure, labs, weight and other measurements stay in Health Signals and do not change the daily score.

Your account data

Signed-in food logs, profile choices, lifestyle records and Health Signals are stored under the user’s account with per-user access rules so one user’s private records are not returned as another user’s data.

READ THE METHODOLOGY

We show the rules instead of hiding the score.

The scoring page explains every point cap and the important separation between behavior scoring and health measurements.

Questions or corrections

Health information should be understandable, sourced and clear about its limits. Heart Help should never be used as a substitute for emergency care or individualized medical advice.
