HEART BASICS

The cardiovascular basics, without the lecture.

Use this section when you want the “why” behind the food, movement, sleep and measurements Heart Help tracks.

Food pattern

Heart health is built from the overall pattern.

Vegetables, fruit, whole grains, legumes, nuts, fish and unsaturated fats can all fit a heart-supportive eating pattern. Sodium, saturated fat and added sugar matter too.

Movement

Regular movement supports cardiovascular health.

Walking, cycling, strength work and other activity can all contribute. The app makes daily logging simple while your weekly pattern remains visible separately.

Sleep

Sleep belongs in the heart-health picture.

A steady sleep routine can support overall cardiovascular wellness. Heart Help lets you track sleep alongside food and movement without turning it into a diagnosis.

Blood pressure

Measurements are signals, not score penalties.

Blood pressure can be tracked over time in Health Signals. It stays separate from the daily Heart Help Score so a reading does not become a judgment about the day.

Labs

Cholesterol and blood sugar change more slowly than daily habits.

LDL, HDL, triglycerides, total cholesterol, glucose and A1c can be recorded in Health Signals to make trends easier to follow.

Risk context

Family history and existing conditions are context, not punishment.

Heart Help can remember the areas you care about—such as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar or weight—without subtracting points for things you cannot change overnight.
